Be it Ever so Humble... a set of twin towers. The one that we are facing is unfinished as the developer ran out of cash when building approximately 30 back. The tower behind what we see is finished. If you happen upon it and look up ¾ of the way you will not likely see me for if I look out the window all I see is a dilapidated old unfinished tower. No need to look out the window. Oh well.
A group of workers on break recharging themselves with fresh fruit juice (it looks like). The monger is selling fried fish balls and fresh pineapple and mango juice heavily watered down. During the fruits’ season fresh is cheaper for the vendor than factory made instant.
Two guys moving a street cart full of fruit from the roadway through the gutter onto a sidewalk. They were setting up the cart for whoever the vendor is and it was not a light cart.
Many times I wonder if exercising in the open air in a city that deals with air pollution is the best option. But, she will pass through traffic (both vehicular and that caused by population density) and many days the air quality is not too bad.
The gentleman is reading from his phone while enjoying his morning cup of coffee. I cannot be sure what he was reading but in days of old it was commonplace to see folks reading the newspaper. This is likely what was taking place as you now rarely see newspapers.
The gentleman knew I was there but was hesitant to look up. He was having green mongo beans mixed with rice for breakfast. Plenty of protein. Plenty of strength for the upcoming day of creating music for the people of the street.
