Wow. Love this!. That separation is amazing. Snow flakes add so much to this.
Thanks fpor posting. Sharer more !!!!
Wow. A cold day in Paris.
I love the natural softness you fet from snow pictures. Nice!
No problem, I have both a monochrom and the 10R. These are shot on the R but with an IR 859nm filter. It does act like a big stopper, so you need to up the ISO to get a usable shutter speed. I have only just joined the forum & still trying to learn how to drive it - but it look fun..
This was shot on my favourite Voightlander 12mm, I was trying to work out how to update the EXIF, but I suppose the trick would be to do it before posting!!! I did say I was learning :)
But thank you for reaching out, appreciated
I'm a sucker for B&W. Love these tomes. I am constantly trying to achieve best B&W conversion but am always disapointed when I see someone elses work look so good after my attemts.
Thanks for posting.
Don't know how to best describe this. But, it certainly has a nostalgic look to it that really stands out.
I used the Visio flex 2 on the M11. It was great, with the EV1 being much better experience...focus helpers are the magnification and focus peaking. Collectively they work great together. I do think the EV1 gives a clearer picture and better focus experience.
Thats good to read. I was hesitant at first as I am with anything new that deviated from traditional concepts. I Have the Visoflex for my M11's and only use that whn I have a close focus lens that needs it. But I wonder how they would compare. I think the EV1 has a nicer viewfinder.
By any chance, does it give a focus confirmation indicator of any kind or does it just let you see the area you are focusing on more clearly?
Thanks!
i was going to comment that I like film so mcuh. And then I saw this was taken with an X-PRO1. Wow. it fooled me. Looks awesome!
It's pretty amazing. Very easy to focus and definitely seems accurate. For me, with my eyesight, it is definitely faster than my M11.
I need to browse this site more often. It feels a little slow. Maybe because it appears to be a new site. But at the same time, I feel I am missing out on some captivating work.
Yes indeed, I couldn't agree more. There are some "hot shots" here.
What a magnificent bird!
How on earth does the UK get an American bald eagle? Thats insane. It is such a protected bird here. Did you know that if you went hiking on a trail and found the feather of a bald eagle and decided to keep it, you could be arrested?
Anyway, thanks for sharing!
Stunning imagery in this series.
It is my life long dream to go see visit Nepal!
Thanks for sharing!
ET
It was taken in St Petersburg in the times when you could travel to Russia! They had just got married and, as you say, was not a happy bride! I call the photograph 'Start Married Life As You Mean To Go On.".
Follow up question. What are you using for B&W Processing. I have all the DXO tools but canot find a preset I am happy with. I like what you did here and I also like what you did with this one.

I am guessing Miami, The place I grew up in. Man, I miss the food there! What I would give for Pollo Tropical now!
I wish I could relax like that. This picture tells me I need a change in life style.
